We answer our own email.
Brauo is small, so a message about a broken document reaches the people who can fix it. Write to us and we will reply.

hello@brauo.comTelling us what device you were on and what you were listening to gets you a useful answer faster - it lets us find the request instead of guessing.
Before you write
These come up often enough that the answer might already be here.
What uses up my plan?
Listening time, measured in credits (about a minute of speech each). Free accounts get a fresh daily grant; paid plans get a monthly allowance. The account page shows how much you have used. Listening to something again costs nothing: once we have made the audio, replaying it is free.
What happens when I run out of credits?
Playback stops until your credits reset. Free accounts reset every morning; paid plans reset when your month renews. Nothing is deleted, and documents you opened in the browser stay on your device.
Which voices do I get?
All 17 Brauo Original voices, across 7 languages. We made every one of them, they are self-hosted, and they are included on every plan - including free. No Original voice costs more than another. German and Japanese run on premium voices, because we have no Original for those languages yet; they spend credits faster, and the reader says so before you pick one.
Do my documents get uploaded?
In the browser reader the file never leaves your device: it is opened and read locally, and only the sentence being spoken is sent to us to turn into audio. In the app your files are stored on your device. We never see a document’s title. Privacy has the detail.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from Billing in your account. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, and it does not renew after that.
How do I delete my account?
On the web, open Account and use Delete account at the bottom of the page. In the iOS app, use Delete account from your profile. Either path removes your account and its data. If you cannot get to either, write to us and we will do it for you.
Something is wrong with the audio or a document.
Write to us and say which document, which voice, and roughly when it happened. That is usually enough for us to find the exact request in our logs and tell you what went wrong.
For anything about your data specifically, Privacy explains what we keep and what we do not.
